I did it!!

I finally graduated from college! Whoo hoo!!! Graduation was held May 4th at the Fieldhouse. Afterwards I had a reception at my house where we ate tacos and cake. Lots of people showed up and I can’t thank everyone enough for all of the support. I graduated with a bachelors in Computer Graphics with two minors in Photography & Business. I am currently living in Isabel, SD working at the Isabel Dakotan newspaper!

Senior Photo Show

In April I had a photo show in the gallery of the DSU library. My photos were up for an entire week and we had a reception on the last night of the show. The show was part of my college minor degree in photography. I had to choose a theme and print 10-12 photos to be displayed. My theme was the family ranch in West River South Dakota. I chose different closeups, landscapes, and buildings to do photos of. A few of my photos were purchased even! Here are the photos I displayed.

H Family

The Hoff family had me do some family photos because they hadn’t had it done in awhile. Last winter I did some family photos just for Chris & Dana’s family, but this time Chris and his siblings and families all came. It was short and sweet and only took about an hour for it all! I have worked with Dana in the DSU Admissions office for three years now, so I always enjoy visiting with her. They made it easy to fit right in and get easy shots! The best part was that they had a huge window that offered a lot of natural sunlight so I didn’t have to lug around my equipment!
